Brant Safinuk has over 15 years of experience in the Construction and Oilfield Industries. He is a Red Seal Journeyperson Carpenter with a natural inclination for business. His leadership skills and decisive nature have enabled him to advance from General Labourer to General Manager. Maintaining a positive attitude has allowed him to overcome business obstacles as they arise. Brant’s efforts to achieve continuous improvement, both personally and in business, have been fundamental to Safrane’s steady and continuous growth.

MICHELLE FORTIN

Finance & Human Resources

With more than ten years of experience in Finance and Business Administration, Michelle is a key player on Safrane’s management team. She is actively involved in managing Safrane’s financial and human resource concerns. Her diverse and dynamic role reflects her energetic and conscientious nature. She is integral to Safrane’s ongoing organizational improvement and growth.

EMIL CRUZ

General Office Manager

Essentially, Emil has been the core of Safrane’s office. He began as our estimator and has grown to General Office Manager in just two short years. As an engineer, Emil is able to produce very precise estimates, which have allowed us to provide our clients with the tightest margins possible, ensuring the company remains a worthy competitor in the Construction Industry. His organizational skills and attention to detail have been a vital component in the company's overall operations.

MIKE NELSON

Superintendent

Mike leads our remote operations team at Safrane as a Super Intendent. He has been with the company for 5 years and has a total of 18 years in the Construction Industry. His decisiveness and strong character traits allow him to complete some of the most complicated contracts that come Safrane’s way. Mike is a dedicated family man. When he is not on the road, he is spending quality time with his family on a lake or enjoying outdoor activities.

TYLER PYLE

Project Manager

Tyler has been with Safrane for 13 years making him the longest-standing employee of the team. He specializes in large-scale concrete structural projects. We also look to Tyler for estimating advice due to his vast field experience and knowledge. Tyler is a very loyal and dedicated employee. He is always looking out for the best interests of the company, and he is always willing to go the extra mile. Tyler’s personal relationships are just as healthy as his working relationships. When he is not at work, you can likely find him on a beach in Mexico.

DWIGHT LEASK

Foreman/Superintendent

Dwight is highly skilled as a Finisher and Carpenter and has mastered the art of Siteworks. He has a total of 13 years in the Construction Industry. Starting at Safrane as a Carpenter 7 years ago, Dwight has worked his way up to be one of our top Foreman/Superintendents. He has a shining personality that can put a smile on anyone’s face. Dwight has been favoured by every Client who has had the privilege of working with him.

ROMMEL CARRILLO

Field Manager

With over 30 years of construction experience, Rommel is our most experienced Field Manager. He started with Safrane in 2016 as a Carpenter, quickly moving up the ranks to Field Supervisor. He is a Carpenter as well as a Civil Engineer, which allows him to deliver high-quality workmanship. Rommel’s charismatic leadership style has employees following easily without question. He is the Master when it comes to structural construction. Rommel is a strong family man who enjoys quality time spent with them.

JESSE THURMIER

Construction Expert

Jack of All Trades, Master of Some. Jesse fits into every piece of the Safrane puzzle. From mechanical skills to operating equipment to carpentry, Jesse has a multi-adaptable skill set that can fill any role. With his positive charisma and can-do attitude, Jesse is our go-to guy for any task. He has a total of 20 years in the Construction Industry, and 6 of those years have been with Safrane. He is one of Safrane’s brightest shining stars.

KEVIN HRYCENKO

Equipment Operator and Mechanic

Kevin is a highly skilled Equipment Operator and Mechanic. He is vital to Safrane’s Field Operations, keeping all of our equipment in tip-top shape as well as executing the most difficult of contracts. Kevin has an exceptional work ethic and safety culture. There is no doubt that he is our hardest-working employee at Safrane. He has a very methodical way of thinking, which converts to excellent problem-solving skills. When Kevin is not working for Safrane he is working on his farm. Kevin’s attitude is he will sleep when he is dead.
